A woman who was stopped at a stop light was rear ended by a drunk driver, and she sustained bruises and soft tissue injuries to her neck and back. Defendant’s insurance company initially offered $15,000 to settle the case. Three days before trial defendant’s offer increased to $25,000. Plaintiffs demanded $100,000.
